The Challenge

Paint Businesses Need More Than a Website.

Paint businesses need structured digital catalogs, pricing visibility, shop discovery and controlled business onboarding. When products, prices, shops and applications live in separate places, discovery and operations stay fragmented.

One Connected Platform

The Solution

One Platform for Discovery, Merchants and Operations.

PAINTIK combines a master catalog, shop listings and pricing, search and map discovery, merchant dashboards, business verification and administration — so public discovery and backend operations share one system.

What We Built

Verified Platform Capabilities

These capabilities are implemented in the Paint Market codebase. Checkout, payment processing, order management and inventory stock tracking are not part of this system.

Master Product Catalog

Central brands, categories and master products managed for the marketplace.

02

Shop Listings & Pricing

Merchants publish listings with pricing, capacities and colour-related data.

03

Search & Discovery

Public search, suggest and browse flows across shops and catalog content.

04

Map & Price-on-Map

Leaflet-powered map discovery for shops and price visibility geographically.

05

Business Registration

Customer and business signup paths, including shop and plan selection flows.

User Roles

Who Uses the Platform

Roles are defined in the application schema and access layer. Merchant plans for shop, wholesaler and raw material map onto the corresponding merchant roles.

Admin

Platform operations, approvals, moderation and catalog control.

Shop

Manage business profile and product listings after verification.

Wholesaler

Merchant workflow using the wholesaler plan.

Raw Supplier

Merchant workflow for raw-material suppliers.

Customer

Public discovery and account functionality when customer access is enabled.

Technical Architecture

How the Stack Fits Together

A static frontend talks to an Express API. Development uses SQLite; production is configured for PostgreSQL. Uploads can stay local or move to S3/R2-compatible storage.
